    The History of Ancient Israel
Professor John Dahmus will be presenting a class on “The History of Ancient Israel” beginning Friday, October 17 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Cenacle. The Old Testament records the biblical writers’ understanding of their past in terms of their theology; these authors did not write history in the modern sense of the word. This class will explain the biblical period in terms of what really happened, not the literal reading of the text. The four-session class will meet through November 7. Click the link to register.
