    St. Catherine of Siena will have Lenten meals on Fridays during Lent, beginning February 20 through March 27. The meal begins at 5:30 p.m. in Johnson Hall, followed by Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m. and Mass at 7:30 p.m. in the church. The meals are free; donations are greatly appreciated.     St. Catherine’s very own Troop 448 is selling Texas Native Hardwood Mulch (brown, non-dyed) for $6 per bag. Delivery is available within a certain area with a 10 bag minimum requirement for free delivery. There is a pickup option at the Circle C Community Center.     Ash Wednesday Masses and Prayer Services
    Ash Wednesday is on Wednesday, February 18, beginning the season of Lent. We are aware that on Ash Wednesday the church is very full, with many desiring coming to receive ashes on their foreheads to symbolize the attitude of internal penance which we are called to throughout Lent. In response to this great outpouring, we will have two Masses as well as five Prayer Services. The Prayer Services are child friendly, and only last about 20 to 30 minutes. Masses will be held at 12 p.m. and 7 p.m. Prayer services will be held at 7:30 a.m., 10 a.m., 4 p.m, 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.

    It's a busy week at St. Catherine's as we continue to prepare for the birth of Jesus. Please join us! On Friday, December 12, we will gather in the church at 7 p.m. for Christmas Carols, followed by cookies and other refreshments in Johnson Hall of the Parish Center. Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass will be on Saturday, December 13, at 5 p.m. The annual Mass for the Feast of Our Lady will once again feature a dramatization by our Amigos Club of the appearance of the Virgin Mary to St. Juan Diego. Refreshments will be served in Johnson Hall after Mass. On Sunday, December 14, join us for a telling of the Christmas story at 3 p.m. in the church, where attendees are invited to dress up as angels, shepherds and kings!
