Friday Lenten Meals, Stations of the Cross and Mass:

Lenten Sew-A-Thon | Wednesday, March 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Siena Hall

The Krafty Ladies need your sewing machines, sergers, thread, pins, scissors and other sewing tools, and your talents to enjoy a day of friendship and service. Sewers of all skill levels are needed to help complete projects for three local nursing homes, a Cancer Center and a hospital neonatal unit. Lunch will be provided and all materials will be ready to sew; we just need you to make this a successful event! For information, contact Mary Hummel at (832) 277-5125.

Fasting and Abstinence during Lent

On the Fridays of Lent, it is the obligation of practicing Catholics from age 14 onward to abstain from eating meat. Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are obligatory days of both fasting and abstinence. On days of fasting, Catholics between the ages of 18 and 59 are permitted to eat one full meal and two smaller meals that together are not equal to a full meal. On days of fasting, refrain from eating between the permitted meals.

Pick up your family’s CRS Rice Bowl from the table in the narthex beginning Ash Wednesday, February 18. You can return them during Holy Week. You may also make a donation online.
