Cradle of Prayer: A Service for Expecting Mothers - April 24, 2026
You are invited to a special prayer service for expecting mothers and families - Cradle of Prayer. Expecting a child is a blessing, but also a time of uncertainty. We're here to pray with you as you prepare for this special gift. We will meet on Friday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the Cenacle (second floor of the Parish Center). All are welcome: expecting mothers, families, friends and anyone who wishes to pray for life. Join us for a 45-minute prayer, music and reflection service. Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) Live Workshop: April 27, 2026
St. Catherine of Siena is hosting a live Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) Workshop on Monday, April 27, 2026at 6:00 pm. This is a 3-hour workshop and will be held in the Parish Center in Johnson Hall (1st Floor).
You must have an EIM account (complete and submit the EIM Application at VIRTUS.org) and pre-register to attend this workshop. This workshop is for first-time participants only. If you need to renew your EIM Certification, log into your Virtus account with your user name and password to renew online. Contact Evelyn Amador, our parish EIM Site Administrator for assistance if needed at 512-892-2420 ext. 315, or [email protected].
NOTES -
1) Plan to arrive promptly (10 to 15 minutes before scheduled time) as late arrivals will not be admitted and
2) Do not bring children to the workshop.

Amigos Club Parish Garage Sale - Saturday, May 2, 2026
The Amigos Club will host a Garage Sale in the west parking lot at St. Catherine’s on Saturday, May 2, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Slots are $20 for one space or $30 for two. Proceeds go toward scholarships offered to an elementary, middle school and high school student in the parish through the Outstanding Achievement Award. Prime Timers Brown Bag Lunch: Celebrate National Apple Pie Day on May 13!
Prime Timers invites you to celebrate National Pie Day in Siena Hall on Wednesday, May 13, at 12:30 p.m. Bring a brown bag lunch, Prime Timers will supply a beverage and the apple pie dessert. In addition to enjoying delicious apple pie, you will be treated to a Johnny Appleseed presentation by Richard Willis, followed by trivia for prizes. Register for the Men's ACTS Retreat: May 14-17, 2026
Adoration, Community, Theology and Service (ACTS) - those are the focus of the Men’s ACTS Retreat scheduled for Thursday, May 14 through Sunday, May 17 at Eagles Wings Retreat Center in Burnet, Texas. The goals of the ACTS retreat are to deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ, renew ourselves spiritually, give new meaning to our prayer life and Sunday liturgy, and build lasting friendships with members of our parish.

Summer Challenge Registration Now Open for Students Entering Grades 7-12!
Summer Challenge provides fun, faith-filled opportunities for teens. It is open to students entering grades 7-12 in the 2026-27 school year. This year's Summer Challenge will be held June 8-10, June 15 and June 19. We have five organizations to work with, one on each day. Graduation Mass: Sunday, May 31 at 11:30 a.m.
On Sunday, May 31, we will celebrate our high school and college graduates from the Class of 2026 at the 11:30 a.m. Mass. During this annual "baccalaureate" Mass, we recognize the milestones of high school and college graduates as we commemorate this joyous occasion with family, friends and fellow parishioners. A small reception will be held for the graduates and their families after Mass. Click here to register.
St. Catherine's Catholic Soccer Camp: June 8-12
Get ready for five days of soccer fun and faith formation this summer at St. Catherine’s Catholic Soccer Camp! This camp is for students entering kindergarten through 5th grade, and will take place June 8 - 12. The cost is $70 per player for the week, which includes a cinch sack, water bottle, daily snacks, and pizza and popsicles for the big game that takes place on Friday, June 12 at Slaughter Creek Park. The Masterworks Singers and Orchestra, conducted by Dr. H. Morris Stevens, Jr. will perform the premiere of the commissioned work Aeterna Via by award-winning composer Elaine Hagenberg at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. This concert will feature the new 7-movement Aeterna Via plus other selections evoking emotions of hope, healing, and peace. The concert is free. There will be a free-will offering collected.
