Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting Family Retreat: August 1
Come experience nature as Saint Francis did, as a reflection of the Creator. Bring your family and enjoy a day in the hill country exploring nature, competing in outdoor activities, earning religious activity patches, and more. Join us at Eagle's Wings Retreat Center on Sat., Aug. 1 for the Diocesan Scouting Committee's Annual Scouting Family Retreat. The cost is $50 per family or $15 per person until July 14. Registration includes t-shirt, lunch, religious activity patches, and project supplies. The retreat is open to all Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturers, Girl Scouts, American Heritage Girls, Troops of St. George, Camp Fire Scouts, and their family. Girl Scout Troop 44030 at St. Catherine of Siena
In September 2025, Girl Scout Troop 44030 started meeting at the St. Catherine of Siena Parish Center. The Daisy troop was founded in 2024, starting with a group of primarily St. Catherine of Siena pre-K4 graduates and expanding to include parishioners and friends! Our 10 girls meet monthly and learn life skills needed to become "girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place."
