Divine Mercy Sunday was established by Pope Saint John Paul II in the year 2000. The feast, which falls on the Second Sunday of Easter, recognizes the abundant mercy offered to us through Jesus. John Paul II understood the Resurrection as the “miracle of mercy” which “radically changed humanity’s destiny.” At St. Catherine of Siena, we will celebrate on Sunday, April 12, at 2:30 p.m. in the Church with adoration, scripture, silent prayer, benediction and the singing of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy – all in just over an hour! All are welcome.
