It's a busy week at St. Catherine's as we continue to prepare for the birth of Jesus. Please join us! On Friday, December 12, we will gather in the church at 7 p.m. for Christmas Carols, followed by cookies and other refreshments in Johnson Hall of the Parish Center. Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass will be on Saturday, December 13, at 5 p.m. The annual Mass for the Feast of Our Lady will once again feature a dramatization by our Amigos Club of the appearance of the Virgin Mary to St. Juan Diego. Refreshments will be served in Johnson Hall after Mass. On Sunday, December 14, join us for a telling of the Christmas story at 3 p.m. in the church, where attendees are invited to dress up as angels, shepherds and kings!
Masses for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be held on Monday, December 8 at 12 p.m. and 7 p.m. This is a Holy Day of Obligation. For the noon Mass, the Apostles of Mary group invites you to the daily 11:20 a.m. rosary in the Day Chapel. After 12 p.m. Mass, you are invited to attend their potluck lunch in the Parish Center. Please bring a MAIN ITEM TO SHARE and enjoy the company of your fellow parishioners - and have a nice lunch, as well!

Make Christmas brighter for families in need! All of the tags on the Giving Trees in the narthex have been claimed. However, you can still donate online towards gift cards for families in need. More information and a link for monetary donations is available by clicking this link.
The second collection for this weekend (October 25-26) is for the Diocese of Austin’s annual Catholic Services Appeal (CSA). This year’s theme is “Together we bring hope.” Your gift to the CSA supports men discerning vocations to the priesthood and diaconate, priests currently serving and retired priests. Your gift helps to sustain Catholic schools, religious education, ministerial formation and initiatives for life, peace and justice. Your donations are carefully spent; it is money for God’s work, and we use it accordingly. Your contributions are deeply appreciated, very much needed and make a real difference in the lives of many.
All Saints’ Day, November 1, is not a Holy Day of Obligation this year because it falls on a Saturday. We will celebrate our usual 5 p.m. Mass on Saturday, November 1, as a Vigil Mass for All Souls’ Day.

St. Catherine’s computer network has been breached. We thank the parish community in advance for your patience and understanding as we work to recover the data that was lost. Our systems that contain private parishioner data are securely protected and have not been affected. We would appreciate hearing from you if you have reserved meeting space or a mass intention. Please also contact us if you have been in communication with our offices about baptism for your infant, child or teen.
Mass will be held on Tuesday at 12 p.m. in Siena Hall (2nd floor of the Parish Center). The Day Chapel is open, however, there will be no Adoration. Mass will not be live-streamed as we don't have cameras set up in Siena Hall. Thank you.
