Pre-Confirmation and Confirmation

Pre-Confirmation classes can begin as early as 7th grade and into high school, with two years of pre-Confirmation classes required before a child can be enrolled in a Confirmation class. The earliest a child can receive the Sacrament of Confirmation is 9th grade.

Families interested in registering their child for Pre-Confirmation or Confirmation classes must contact Youth Minister Livia Telles-Rodriguez ([email protected]), who works with each family to determine where their child is in their Confirmation preparation. A copy of the child's Baptism certificate must be provided. Families must be registered parishioners at St. Catherine of Siena, and at least one parent must complete the Ethics in Ministry (EIM) program through the Diocese of Austin.
