Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist the priest and deacons in sharing Communion at Masses and Communion Services. To become an Extraordinary Minister at St. Catherine of Siena, one must complete training. This training is held twice a year and involves both the theological and liturgical background, as well as the practical aspects of this ministry. The next training is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. beginning in the Cenacle Room (2nd floor of the Parish Center), then moving to the church. Time Commitment: Ministers serve at Mass approximately once per month.
Requirements - All EMoHC must meet the following:
· Received Confirmation
· Be at least 16 years old
· Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) trained if age 18+
