Need Financial Assistance?The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Diocesan Council of Austin is comprised of 41 local groups called Conferences, staffed by over 1000 volunteers. Neighbors who need financial assistance are referred to the conference in their respective communities. Two trained volunteers, known as Vincentians, will conduct a home visit where they will sit down with a
neighbor to listen and understand the challenges the neighbor is facing, and to also pray with them. Home visits not only ensure confidentiality but also respects the dignity of the neighbor. Assistance that is provided includes help with rent, mortgage, utilities, food, and medicine. It is based on the needs of the neighbor and their family. Click here for additional information.
