Return of a great family event, a corn roast and fellowship. All Knights families and parish members invited to the event after the Sunday evening mass. Lots of napkins will be available.
As the Christmas Season approaches, we wonder how it is we will get through all those traditions, and how we will prepare for the holidays if we have lost a loved one recently. Lori Kruczek will present some practical solutions on getting through the holidays at St. Catherine's on November 12, 2025. This is a two-hour session from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Parish Center, rooms 231/232. Dr. James Speer will be the guest speaker at the Prime Timers meeting on November 12, speaking on the topic of "The Cognitive Psychology of Aging: How We Deteriorate and Compensate." Dr. Speer was a faculty member at Stephen F. Austin University from 1980-2003. He served as Dean of Liberal Arts from 1995-2000 and retired with the title of Professor Emeritus.

St. Catherine's Youth Ministry is holding its annual Friendsgiving Social event for students in grades 7-12 on Sunday, November 16 in Siena Hall. The Scouts of Troop 448 will host a Flag Retirement ceremony on Monday, November 17, starting at 7 p.m. in the St. Catherine of Siena parking lot. The Knights of Columbus 4th degree will fallout for the ceremony. Parishioners are welcome to attend and can also bring a U.S. flag that needs to be properly retired if they have one. The Apostles of Mary Rosary Group will celebrate with a Rosary in the Day Chapel at 11:20 a.m., noon Mass before daily Mass. After Mass, join us in the Parish Center for lunch with your fellow parishioners.
