Prayer Vigil for Peace - Saturday, April 11

In response to our Holy Father Pope Leo’s call for all Catholics to unite in a Prayer Vigil for Peace on April 11^th, we will offer a prayer service at Saint Catherine on Saturday at 6:15 PM, after the conclusion of the 5 PM Mass.  The service, which will be offered in the presence of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, will include community prayer, readings from sacred scripture, moments of personal prayer, the Holy Father’s message to the Church, music and Benediction. Please answer the call to pray for peace with your fellow Catholics around the world – we hope to see you then!
 
From the Diocese of Austin: Bishop Daniel Garcia invites us to join the Holy Father and his brother bishops in praying for peace. During this the Octave of Easter, we pray for those living in fear, amid tension and division and uncertainty. Our Lord draws us near, inviting us to become instruments of His peace, steadfast in hope, and always united in His love.
