The best preparation for the sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation is regular attendance at Sunday Mass as a family. Part of living our Catholic faith is knowing the different parts of the church building, the meanings of the different parts of the church and how they are used to celebrate the sacraments and help us grow in our faith.
Each month, children and youth in preparation for the sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation are asked to take their photos next to these different parts of the church as an opportunity to learn their importance in our faith lives.
Take a photo of your child or teen on Saturday or Sunday before or after Mass next to the Liturgical Seek & Find item for each month.
Email the photo to stcatherinehomework@gmail.com. Make sure to include your children's names in the email.
Please do not take photos during Mass or of children and youth while attending Mass.
