The Giving Tree

Make Christmas brighter for families in need! Giving Trees are set up in the narthex at St. Catherine of Siena, with gift tags for individuals and families in our local communities. Simply take a gift tag from one of the trees, fill out the sponsor portion of the tag and leave it in the box at the display table, purchase your gift(s) and return them by Sunday, November 30. Sanctuary Repairs Update and Request for Donations

Fr. Pat has written a letter updating information on sanctuary improvements, including replacing the HVAC system, Cupola repairs and roof replacement. St. Catherine of Siena needs an additional $735,000 in funds to make the final repairs to our beloved sanctuary and we are requesting donations from parishioners. Click here to read Fr. Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help

Please join us in the parish devotion! Pray the Novena daily beginning Friday, May 16, ending at the Closing Novena Liturgy & Benediction on Saturday, May 24, 5:00 p.m. Mass. Pamphlets are available in the narthex and online.

Become an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion

We will have training for new Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion on Saturday, May 17, at 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. If you are interested in this ministry and you have received Confirmation, are at least 18 years old and EIM trained (or willing to become EIM compliant), click here for more information.

Masterworks Spring Concert on Sunday, June 1

Join us on Sunday, June 1 at 7:30 p.m., when the Masterworks Singers and Orchestra will present their Annual Spring Concert, "Illuminare: Light, Hope, & Joy" in the church. This will likely be the finest evening of music you will hear all year! The concert is free; a goodwill offering will be collected.

Austin Community College Faculty Trio Concert on June 9

Join us at 7:00 p.m. in the Church for a special concert. The trio features Dr. Shane Anderson, Chairman of the Music Department at Austin Community College and pianist at Saturday 5:00 p.m. Mass, Julie Linder on clarinet and Jose Flores on violin. Admission is free.

Six-Week Grief Support Group Begins on May 7

If you have lost a loved one, you are invited to join a six-week grief support group starting on Wednesday, May 7. We will meet from 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the Parish Center. The group will be led by Lori Kruczek. Click here for details and to RSVP.

Divine Mercy Sunday on April 27

We will celebrate on Sunday, April 27, at 2:30 p.m. in the Church with adoration, scripture, silent prayer, benediction and the singing of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy – all in just over an hour! All are welcome.

EIM Workshop at St. Catherine on Thursday, April 24

We are hosting an in-person EIM Workshop on April 24 at 6:00 p.m. (In-person workshops are for NEW APPLICANTS ONLY.) You must have an EIM account (complete and submit the EIM Application at VIRTUS.org) and pre-register to attend this workshop. Easter Masses at St. Catherine

Mass Times: Easter Vigil Mass, Saturday, April 19, 8:00 p.m.* Sunday, April 20, Masses: 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m.*, 11:30 a.m., and 1:30 p.m. (* These Masses will be live-streamed.)

Holy Week at St. Catherine

As we prepare for Easter, there are many activities this week at St. Catherine. On Thursday, our Holy Thursday Mass will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. On Good Friday, Family Stations of the Cross will be held at 10:00 a.m., the Stations of the Cross will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the Church. The Passion Service will take place at 7:30 p.m. On Holy Saturday, we will have the Blessing of the Easter food baskets at 9:30 a.m. in the Day Chapel. We will have an Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. on church grounds. The Easter Vigil Mass will be held at 8 p.m. The Parish Offices will be closed Thursday, April 17 through Monday, April 21.

Easter Lily Memorials

Would you like to remember a loved one through a memorial gift of Easter lilies? Your loved one's name will appear on the decorative donation board in the narthex to be displayed during the Easter services. Parish Lenten Service on Tuesday, March 18

Our Parish Lenten Penance Service will be held on Tue., March 18 at 7:30 p.m. Father Pat and Father Jonnes, along with other priests from the diocese, will be available for individual confessions. If you are unable to make our parish service, click here to see a list of other services in our diocese.

Ash Wednesday is on March 5

We will have two Masses as well as five Prayer Services. Schedule: Masses at 12 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Prayer Services with Distribution of Ashes at: 7:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 3:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m., and 6:15 p.m.

Join us on the Friday Nights of Lent

On Friday evenings, we will serve a Lenten Meal in Johnson Hall from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. The family-friendly menu will vary each week and will be coordinated by different parish organizations. The meals are free, but free-will donations are greatly appreciated. Come and enjoy the company of our fellow parishioners with a meal before the Stations of the Cross at 7:00 p.m. and Mass at 7:30 p.m.

Lenten Retreats

We are offering two different Lenten retreats, one daytime and one evening. Both series are free and open to all. Join Deacon Art on Wednesdays, March 12 – April 9 at 10:30 a.m. for a powerful and engaging Lenten Retreat as we journey through the Sorrowful Mysteries. Join Eric Carreiro & Marti Salas for three contemplative Monday evenings, March 24 – April 7, where we explore the theme "God Sees, God Loves & God Heals." Click here for details.

Food Drive for Abiding Love Food Pantry ends this weekend!

Please return donations to the narthex this weekend or Abiding Love Parking Lot on Sunday, March 2, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. where the Knights of Columbus will host a Drive-Thru Food collection. You may also make a monetary donation by clicking here. Thank you for your generosity!

Mardi Gras Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, March 2

Everyone is invited for a special family-friendly breakfast of pancakes, sausage, and eggs after the morning Masses on Sunday, March 2, 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. This is a fundraiser hosted by St. Catherine of Siena ACTS to help support ACTS Retreats and Scholarships.
