Make Christmas brighter for families in need! Giving Trees are set up in the narthex at St. Catherine of Siena, with gift tags for individuals and families in our local communities. Simply take a gift tag from one of the trees, fill out the sponsor portion of the tag and leave it in the box at the display table, purchase your gift(s) and return them by Sunday, November 30. Fr. Pat has written a letter updating information on sanctuary improvements, including replacing the HVAC system, Cupola repairs and roof replacement. St. Catherine of Siena needs an additional $735,000 in funds to make the final repairs to our beloved sanctuary and we are requesting donations from parishioners. Click here to read Fr. As we prepare for Easter, there are many activities this week at St. Catherine. On Thursday, our Holy Thursday Mass will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. On Good Friday, Family Stations of the Cross will be held at 10:00 a.m., the Stations of the Cross will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the Church. The Passion Service will take place at 7:30 p.m. On Holy Saturday, we will have the Blessing of the Easter food baskets at 9:30 a.m. in the Day Chapel. We will have an Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. on church grounds. The Easter Vigil Mass will be held at 8 p.m. The Parish Offices will be closed Thursday, April 17 through Monday, April 21.
Would you like to remember a loved one through a memorial gift of Easter lilies? Your loved one's name will appear on the decorative donation board in the narthex to be displayed during the Easter services. Our Parish Lenten Penance Service will be held on Tue., March 18 at 7:30 p.m. Father Pat and Father Jonnes, along with other priests from the diocese, will be available for individual confessions. If you are unable to make our parish service, click here to see a list of other services in our diocese.
We will have two Masses as well as five Prayer Services. Schedule: Masses at 12 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Prayer Services with Distribution of Ashes at: 7:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 3:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m., and 6:15 p.m.
On Friday evenings, we will serve a Lenten Meal in Johnson Hall from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. The family-friendly menu will vary each week and will be coordinated by different parish organizations. The meals are free, but free-will donations are greatly appreciated. Come and enjoy the company of our fellow parishioners with a meal before the Stations of the Cross at 7:00 p.m. and Mass at 7:30 p.m.
We are offering two different Lenten retreats, one daytime and one evening. Both series are free and open to all.
