School Supply Drive

Parishioners of St. Catherine's and also, the SVDP, donated school supplies to many families who needed some extra help in obtaining the tools their children need to succeed. Here was the response from the Foundation Communities:
"Thank you so very much for St. Catherine's of Siena’s participation in our Back to School Drive! We are so amazed by your parish’s outpouring of generosity. Your gift of $2,113 and 146 backpacks and school supplies will ensure that each of the 800+ children we serve in our innovative after-school program gets a jump start on the 2016-2017 school year by providing them with the tools they need to succeed."
In addition, The St. Vincent de Paul Society collected supplies to serve 14 families in the local area, totaling 31 children who received the items they needed for the schoolyear. Here are some photos of SVDP's efforts to collect and sort the supplies.
