Ash Wednesday is on Wednesday, February 18, beginning the season of Lent. We are aware that on Ash Wednesday the church is very full, with many desiring coming to receive ashes on their foreheads to symbolize the attitude of internal penance which we are called to throughout Lent. In response to this great outpouring, we will have two Masses as well as five Prayer Services. The Prayer Services are child friendly, and only last about 20 to 30 minutes. Masses will be held at 12 p.m. and 7 p.m. Prayer services will be held at 7:30 a.m., 10 a.m., 4 p.m, 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.Read More -
Dear Parishioners, I wish to inform you that I am retiring as Pastor of St. Catherine’s in December of this year. A new Pastor will be appointed and he will take up office in January, 2027. I will be retiring to the John Paul II Priest’s retirement center in Georgetown. With love, Fr. Pat.Read More

St. Catherine’s very own Troop 448 is selling Texas Native Hardwood Mulch (brown, non-dyed) for $6 per bag. Delivery is available within a certain area with a 10 bag minimum requirement for free delivery. There is a pickup option at the Circle C Community Center. ACTS is hosting a Mardi Gras themed Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, February 15 in Johnson Hall after 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Masses. Women of the parish, have you ever wanted to learn more about the third person of the Trinity? Do you wish you had a closer relationship with the Holy Spirit? If so, then join us on Tuesday mornings from 9:15 to 10:45, beginning February 3, as we journey together through the Bible Study “The Holy Spirit in the Bible.” We will learn about topics like “The Holy Spirit in the Beginning,” “The Holy Spirit and Jesus,” and “The Holy Spirit at the End of Time.” Cost is $20 for the book.
