Ministry of Mothers Sharing

Ministry of Mothers Sharing (MOMS) gives you an opportunity to join other moms in deepening your faith and creating life-giving friendships. Many women long for motherhood and yet, when it arrives, find tasks overwhelming and sometimes empty of value and worth. During our MOMS meetings, we use a book called Grace Within: A Personal Journal to learn more about the ancient Catholic spiritual practice of finding the sacred in the ordinary. The tasks we accomplish on a daily basis matter, and they matter in a divine way. We also focus on self-esteem, stress management, friendships and feelings.

During the ten-week exploration of the topics in this book, many women have discovered that beneath the veils of the mundane lies a vast gold mine of purpose and value. The vocation of motherhood draws us closer to Christ’s call to love and the culmination of our Baptismal calling. We form strong connections with one another that often result in lifelong friendships.
